Today is the last day of my two week long Christmas holiday and as always I feel like I didn't have time to do even half of the things I wanted to, but at least I feel relaxed and ready for the new year.
Today's nail art is the first time I've been truly happy with the result of colour changing flakies. In the past I've struggled to get them to lie perfectly flat on the nail but this time it looked exactly how I intended it to! The only difference I can think of is that I applied less flakies this time... Less is more might be the right recipe. On top of the flakies I've painted a branch like design with pale grey acrylic paint and finished it off with matte top coat.
Polishes used: OPI Kiss Me - Or Elf! and Wet n Wild Matte Top Coat

Idag är sista dagen på min julsemester och som vanligt känns det som jag inte riktigt hunnit med det jag tänkt. Men jag är åtminstone utvilad och redo för det nya året så det får väl duga så!
Dagens naglar är jag väldigt nöjd med av en anledning, det här är första gången jag lyckats få flakies att ligga helt platt på nageln, tidigare har de alltid stuckit upp och stört oavsett hur många lager överlack jag använt. Jag tror att det som blev rätt den här gången är att jag använde färre flakies så det blev inte så knöligt eller tjockt på nageln. Ska se om det funkar även nästa gång! Sen har jag målat ett litet grenmotiv ovanpå i grå akrylfärg och avslutat med matt överlack.
