Whimsical Valentine's Day Nail Art

Oh how I've enjoyed this past weekend with sun (shining!) and a very limited agenda! I've been going for walks, reading and even baked a cake.

Whimsical Valentine's Day Nail Art with ILNP Rosewater
Continuing with more nail art featuring hearts, as I've mentioned I like Valentine's Day for nail inspiration! This pattern is inspired by a greeting card that was available in John Lewis in 2015. See original image here on Print & Pattern blog. If you're interested in patterns and prints, I can highly recommend that blog by the way, I've been following for years.

I chose a discreet yet not so discreet background for my design, painting my nails with two coats of ILNP Rosewater. The rest of the design is painted with acrylic paint and topped off with matte top coat.

  2. If you HAD to, had to, chose between ILNP Rosewater and Sunday Brunch (I'm obsessed with this design, as well as the christmas berry design you did on Sunday Brunch) which would you chose? I'm torn between the both of them, but don't need two sheer holos. tysm!

    1. Thank you!
I would pick Rosewater any day of the week. The pinkish sheen to it is much more exciting than the golden one from Sunday brunch. I think it’s most visible when wearing just a coat or two, so you can’t be afraid of visible nail line :P
