Today's design is a simple stamped nail design. I don't stamp as often as I used to, but sometimes it's exactly what I need!
Polishes used: KIKO 340, LA Girl Teal Diamond and Essie Good as Gold
Today's design is a simple stamped nail design. I don't stamp as often as I used to, but sometimes it's exactly what I need!
Sitting here with freshly painted nails and figured it's time to update the blog! It's been a while, but who's keeping count?
I've been gravitating towards the old type of nail art that was popular around ten(!!) years ago, so decided to do some fish tail nails a while ago. I enjoyed the fact that I could create bold nail art with just the regular brush from the bottle. If you're not familiar with this design, check out this simple tutorial from Lucy's Stash.
Spending a lazy Saturday at home, whiling away the hours on my tablet and practicing some drawing techniques.
The manicure I have to show today has been sitting in the vault for at least six months. I believe I wore this design last summer, and remember how the white lace got a bit discolored after eating some turmeric-heavy food with my fingers one night. That yellow would not come off!I just created a post with a design I already posted! That's how out of my nail game I am ^-^. The minute I published it, I realized I published the same look in August. Oops. So here I am, publishing a second post today, just to hide the mistake of the previous one.
I was missing the type of nail art I used to do way back when, so sometime this autumn I decided to create some galaxy nails. I was sponging on polish forever, but love the shimmery depth of this design!I've been in a bit of a nail- and blogging lull for the last year or so. I didn't think the pandemic would have such an effect on my interest in keeping my nails nice and colourful but turns out it did.
Running a bit behind on the blog but figured I better get the swatches for Pink Gellac's Exotic Chaos collection out, as I already received their next collection in the mail! This collection came out in August and features five creme polishes in the orange-pink-purple colour scheme. All of them cover in two coats.
I received this collection as press samples, but the opinions expressed about the polishes are obviously my own.
First up is Lotus Lila, number 324. This is a medium purple which doesn't lean warm or cold. The most similar Pink Gellac shade I have is Lily Lilac (288) but that one is a lot paler and with much cooler tones. This reminds me of OPI A Grape Fit.
