Gradient metallic leaf nails

Perhaps it's a bit ironic to post leafy green nails the day after the first massive snowfall of the season but I was wearing shimmery green KIKO 533 at the beginning of the week and felt like adding some stamping to it.
I bought 533 after seeing it on Claws in Color back in 2014. Unfortunately it was already then being retired so I by now it will be impossible to come across, apart from in perhaps a blog sale. You know what else I think is retired? The entire line of KIKO nail polish with this bottle design :O.

I was really shocked when I went to Mall of Scandinavia last week and discovered that KIKO changed the entire nail selection. I'm a sucker for having many nail polishes from the same brand, it works well with my sense of orderliness, so this kind of news always annoys me. When the new line has smaller (down to 7 ml from 11 ml) uglier bottles and a worse selection of colours, you can consider med downright disappointed.

Polishes used: KIKO 533, KIKO 626 and Barry M Gold Foil

  1. OMG !! You already have snow !! So I guess Canada isn't that bad after all :p I don't like snow in November so I think that your nail art is a very pretty and appropriate protest.

    1. I know!! We usually get snow sometime in November but it was earlier than expected this year and also more than expected. We had like ~40 cm in the capital where I live which lead to complete chaos. More or less all public transport was out of commission and cars couldn't get anywhere. People were stuck in their cars for hours (I heard everything from 2 to 8!). I ended up walking some 7km to get to a functioning subway stop.
A protest is a very nice way to look at it :)
