Pink Gellac Island Wave Collection

A bit late with my weekly nail art post, and a bit short on nail art photos to pick from so decided to combine nail art and some swatch pictures. Below I have the Island Wave Collection from Pink Gellac that came out about a month ago.

These soak off polishes were sent to me for review and I must say I found a new favourite among them. I'll start with that one, the star of this collection, Mermaid green, number 303. This shimmery polish covers in 2 coats and has lots of green shimmer in a blueish base. It's the perfect mermaid shade that shifts a bit between green and blue depending on the light, it reminds me of KIKO 532.

For the nail art I decided to try drag marbling, it's supposed to be very easy with gel polishes and it definitely was! Could take my time adding every shades of this collection to the nail before carefully with a thin brush creating a pattern.

Next up is Coco White, number 299. This polish covers in 3 coats and is as white as it gets I'd say, comparing it to Pink Gellac Soft White (101) I find this to be more paper white and less soft.

Next up is Light Blue, number 300, which covered in 2 coats. This is a darker version of Sky Grey (295) from the Uncovered 6 collection with a bit more blue/purple. If you want to wear blue, but still do it in a discreet way, this is the shade to go for.

If you don't fancy discreet blue, then 301 Azure Blue is for you! The opposite of discreet, this reminded me of OPI's My Pal Joey. The polish covers in 2 coats.

Last but not least, the unexpected addition to the collection! Lime Green, 302, covers in three coats and is almost an olive tone, somewhere in between green and yellow. I wouldn't describe it as lime though, for me that has to be a bit brighter and more green.
